The top of the map is pointing westward. This is a map showing the campus at it's largest state. You will note that Cottage 7 is still listed on the south (left side) of campus - it was demolished in 1976. The Dellwoods (which were more modern group homes) are in the bottom right-hand corner, and were the newest additions, finished in 1972. The Rum River runs along the west edge of the hospital campus, just off the map's top edge. The map is not to scale.

As with the 1975 map, the top of the map is pointing westward. You will note that Cottage 7 is no longer on the map, as it was demolished in 1976. This map includes the Rum River, street names, and the dates in which buildings were completed. The map is not to scale.

This is a view of the Minnesota Colony for Epileptics, taken from an airplane, looking Northeast. The village of Cambridge is located along the top edge of the picture. The Rum River is located just off the photograph to the left. The buildings, left to right, are Cottage 4, Cottage 2, the Main Building, Cottage 1, and Cottage 3.

This is a real photo postcard of the front of the Main Building. Although the postcard is undated, by the looks of the automobile in the parking lot to the right and the size of the trees surrounding the building, the photo must have been taken in the late 1930's or early 1940's.
